If you’ve seen “johncoswell” around on the Internet, well it’s actually me, John Bintz. John Coswell was the name of my cartoon alter-ego for a comic I used to run called “Coswell on Campus.” Having his name as my general purpose Internet name was cute…until people actually started referring to me in the real world as “John Coswell.”

So it had to change.

Here’s where I’ve used johncoswell, and where I’ve changed it, and where it will be tough to change it. This is a running list, so more items will be added in the future:

• Gmail – johncoswell [at] gmail {dot} com will be tough to change
• Inkscape – commits by jcoswell@coswellproductions.org are actually me
• WordPress – I’m johncoswell there and that will be tough to change
