After a long stretch of coloring and tweaking the Inkscape Paint Bucket tool a little more (it’s faster and more crash-proof now!), Chapter 2 of the next A Moment of Clarity book, “Candynomics,” is complete! I just uploaded the last page of the chapter to the Webcomics Nation site. This one promises to be a lot more, um, happy, than the first one, and it’ll really get the story moving.

Another comic thing that I forgot to post about was that I was involved in a charity auction for Disabled American Veterans, put together by Jimmy & Karen Gownley of Amelia Rules! I put in a really nice Prismacolor piece that went for a smidge over $100! Dave Sim put in a bunch of original artwork, including an original “Swords of Cerebus” cover that went for $3,000!!! I”m guessing just around $5,000 was raised for the charity.

Next, I’m going to be at the Counter-Culture Festival, taking place this January. I’llp post some more details later. This will be the last huzzah for the place where we normally hang out, as the bar, Dr. Dremo’s, will be closed and turned into condominiums. Yeah, whatever. :/

Finally, I’m running yet another Dictionary Comic, this one on the artdc.org boards. Go and check it out. My page is next, and the story is slowly but surely shaping upto be something fun.
