AMoC Update - Page 40; also, ComicPress hacking!
I just put the finishing touches on page 40 of the next A Moment of Clarity graphic novel, "Candynomics." That means the book is now 1/5 done! Yeah! It’s going real well, and because of some new Inkscape features, the art is coming out much nicer in these recent pages. ‘Course since everything in this book is vector, it will be easy to go back and tweak the older pages so that they look even better once it’s time to print the book. Also, on this site, I’ve been hacking the heck out of the default ComicPress template. The most recent change has been to create automatic thumbnail generation using ImageMagick, as well as an untested GD port of the same code. Additionally, and this is still a pretty beta feature, there can be more than one non-comic category. That way, I can have the 100 Movies Project posts not appear in the "Latest Comics" sidebar entry. This should also open the doors for more fine-grained control over layout and publishing when running multiple comics on a site, especialy when the comics appear on the same day, which I hope to do here someday.
