At SPX last year, the Indy Comic Review reviewers stopped by and picked up a copy of AMoC Volume 1 for review. Well, they posted the review, and it got a very solid 4 out of 5 stars! Yeah, man! Read the review here!
Libre Graphics Meeting is a get-together of artists and developers who work with open-source graphics tools, like The GIMP and Inkscape. MenTaLguY and myself should be there, giving a presentation on how we create our comics (“The Last Bus†and “AMoC“) using Inkscape and other open-source tools.
Yeah, I finally got to draw the scene that I visualized earlier in Blender:
Also, if you’re a total nerd, grab the latest daily builds of Inkscape and give the new Paint Bucket tool a spin. It cut down my comic coloring time from five hours to two. Yeah, really!
