About
My name is John Bintz. I am a Web programmer by trade, and a cartoonist in my spare time. I’ve been programming computers for a very long time, and have recently become involved with Open Source software development. I specialize in scripting languages such as Ruby, Perl, and PHP, as well as with database-driven Web development, but that doesn’t mean I can’t branch out into other areas of development.
I am also an experienced cartoonist. I am currently working on writing, drawing, and self-publishing an all-ages graphic novel titled “A Moment of Clarity,” and I have been involved in a number of animation productions, both for fun and for profit. I’ve been drawing almost as long as I’ve been programming computers, and I’m not stopping anytime soon.
